Please run the demo (if available) to check. Also, please ensure that you have the following syteme requirements:

• Flash Player 8
• Cookies enabled
• Pop-Up blockers disabled

Can I print out the course and mail in my test?

In order to receive credit for your course, you must complete and pass the final exam online.

Are you an approved continuing education provider in my state?

If you see a course listed for your state, BlueVolt and the course are approved by that state for continuing education credit.

What happens if I don’t pass the test?

Please use the form on the Contact page to let us know. We will reset your exam for free.

Are the BlueVolt CEU tests timed?

No. You can take as much time as you like, and you can log in and out as many times as you want to. If you are interrupted in the middle of a quiz or exam, simply log back in and click on that test, you’ll be taken back to where you left off.

How Do BlueVolt Continuing Education Courses Work?

Register with BlueVolt
Create a username and password.

Enroll in your course
Pay online by credit card or check using our secure server and provide BlueVolt with your electrical license number(s). You’ll have instant access to your course.

Take your course
Read through each section and take the quiz at the end of each module. The courses are un-timed, available 24 hours a day, and self-paced.

Final Exam
Take the un-timed final exam (see course description for % required to pass). All questions are multiple choice or true/false and are graded as you go.

Skillsoft Course won't launch

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Java going to http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp and clicking the "Free Java Download" button.

2. Add sites to your Trusted Sites. Go to Tools-->Internet Options. Select the Security tab and click on the green checkmark for Trusted Sites. Click the Site button, uncheck the "require server verification" box, and add the following (close this box when done but leave Internet Options open):

Adding a New Course

  1. Select the Course Category from the second drop down box. Categories currently in your University populate this drop down list. If there are no categories, the drop down box defaults to Uncategorized. For instructions on how to create or add categories, please refer to the article on Cateogories. Note: You may add a class to a category, or add a class to uncategorized and then categorize the class at a later time.
