Yes, you're generally required to spend 50 minutes per credit hour viewing the course material and taking the quizzes/final exam. For instance, an 8 credit hour course requires you to spend 6.67 hours in the course (8 x 50 min. = 400 min). If you finish early, just go back and review the material until you meet the time requirement. Note, that the seat time will stop after 5 minutes of inactivity so make sure to actively advance the course in order to continue running down seat time.
Note, if you are taking a 2017 NEC Code course and have completed all the required sections you will want to launch the optional All Chapters Content Only section. This section can be viewed multiple times so if you view all the slides but have not completed the seat time, you can review the material again.
