Required Time to Spend on a Course: Seat Time Requirement
Some course creators will attach a seat time to courses to make sure learners are spending what they have deemed an acceptable amount of time viewing the material presented in a course. Our courses are written by nationally-recognized training directors who include the same amount of material in the online version as they would cover in a classroom course. The seat time requirement hours are assigned accordingly and mandated by the states. This is not something BlueVolt is able to control.
Completed Course Material before Seat Time Met
Should you find yourself completing the course material faster than the required time, most courses include optional content which can be viewed in order to meet that seat time requirement.
Seat Time on Mobile Devices
Many of our courses with seat-time requirements may not complete on a mobile device. If you're re-watching material and the clock is not ticking down the minutes for you, or if you are unable to see how many minutes are left in the requirement, try switching to a different browser. Additionally, you can try scrolling down to the very bottom of the page and clicking the words Non-Mobile Site/View to see if more content comes up for you. If neither of these tips help, you may have to wait until you can get to a desktop or laptop to meet your requirement. Additional information about mobile devices can be found here.
