Some course creators will attach a seat time to courses to make sure that learners are spending what they have deemed an acceptable amount of time viewing the material presented in a course. Our courses are written by nationally-recognized training directors who include the same amount of material in the online version as they would cover in a classroom course. They assign the hours accordingly, so this requisite is not something that BlueVolt can waive.
Note: if you are taking a 2017 NEC Code course and have already ready completed all the chapters, you will need to launch the "All Chapters (Content Only)(Optional)" section in order to run down the remaining seat time. This section can be launched even after it is marked passed.
PLEASE NOTE: Many of our courses that do have seat-time requirements may not complete on a mobile device. If you're re-watching material and the clock is not ticking down the minutes for you, or if you are unable to see how many minutes are left in the requirement, try switching browsers that you launch your account from. Also, try scrolling down to the very bottom of the page and clicking the words "Non-Mobile Site/View" to see if more content comes up for you. If neither of these tips help. you may have to wait until you can get to a desktop or laptop to meet your requirement.
You can read more about taking courses with a mobile device under the Technical FAQ article.
