Set Course Enrollment Limits
This is a great setting to use when you want to place a limit on the number of people who can enroll in a course. For example, you have a course that is an in-person, instructor-led course in a classroom with a limited number of seats. Limiting enrollments will prevent you from overbooking the room.
Another example of when you might want to limit a course size is budget. You may have X dollars allotted for course enrollments for the month, so you’ll want to limit the number of learners in order to stay within your budget.
To put a limit on a course size, you’ll need to do the following:
- On the admin side of the university, go to Training > Courses > View Courses
- Search for the course you wish to limit the size
- Click on Settings.
- In the “Students (Leave blank for unlimited)” section, enter the limit of enrollments you would like for that particular course
- Click on Save & Exit.
Note: You can adjust and can remove course enrollment limits at any point.
