When you sign up for an account, you can enter your license number. This information is required for BlueVolt to report your completion or to provide you with completion certificate accepted by your state. When you create an account, you will be prompted to add your license information, but you can also add or edit a license any time.
You can have multiple licenses on file. BlueVolt will automatically generate completion certificates for every state for which you've provided a valid license, so long as that course is approved by the state. If you take a course that is not approved by one of the states in which you hold a license, BlueVolt will not generate a completion certificate for that state.
Add/Edit License to your Profile
- Log into your BlueVolt CEU account.
- Locate your name in the upper right-hand corner and click on it.
- Click on My Profile.
- Below your Info is a box that contains License Click Add License.
- Fill out the information on the pop-up window and click Save.
NOTE: If you are taking courses in order to get a first-time license, you still need to add license information for BlueVolt to be able to report and provide certificates. You can use PROVISIONAL as your license number and enter any future expiration date.
Once you click Save, you will be returned to your Profile page and the licenses will be listed in the Licenses box. If you need to add additional licenses, you can repeat the process above.
REMEMBER: A license must be on your profile for BlueVolt to be able to report your completion to the state and provide you with a valid completion certificate.
Every course will tell you what states accept that course. If you are viewing courses while logged into your account, you will also see what licenses we have on file for you in the same box. This will quickly help you determine if the course will meet your needs.
