Activity: Activities are for tracking in-person or on-the-job training. They appear in the Course Catalog, allowing users to enroll or be assigned to them. A learner must complete the specified activity and submit for approval. An administrator must approve the submission before the learner is marked as complete.
- Course Instructors and relevant group admins will receive an email notification when a learner requests approval. This approval request is included in the Training Summary if it is enabled; otherwise, it will be sent immediately.
-
Course File: Course files consist of a single downloadable file and are listed in the Course Catalog. A user is marked complete upon downloading the file.
- Other course types, such as online or scheduled courses, may include one or more modules that provide links to view files. This option is ideal for courses where learners need to reference multiple files, SCORM modules, or additional materials to achieve course objectives.
