Some learners may face difficulty completing parts of their online courses. The transcript is an excellent place to start troubleshooting for your learners. Below is an example transcript for a learner.
Troubleshooting By Module Type:
- SCORM Modules: SCORM and AICC modules can have their progress reset from a learner's transcript by clicking Reset under the status column of the module. You can also click View Results to see each learner attempt to view and complete the module, as well as any statistics that your file is programmed to track.
-
Assessment Modules: Assessment module attempts can be viewed under View Results.
- If your assessment has a maximum number of attempts and the learner has exceeded that number, you can grant additional attempts at My University > Learner Activity > Allow Retakes.
-
Survey Modules: Once a survey has been marked complete, a learner cannot submit a second survey. You can view the individual survey response on the learner's transcript under View Results.
- To view survey results for multiple learners, go to Analytics > Training Reports > Aggregate Assessments/Survey Results.
- Link to URL Modules: You can review the time that a learner has spent engaging in the link to URL module by clicking View Results. This is especially handy if there is a required seat time for the module that the learner has not yet met. Once the seat time is met, the module will show a passed status on the transcript.
- Video/Document Download Modules: You can review the time that a learner has spent engaging with a video or document download module by clicking View Results. This is especially handy if there is a required seat time for the module that the learner has not yet met. Once the seat time is met, the module will show a passed status on the transcript.
- File Upload Modules: Once a file upload module has been approved by an admin, it will show as passed on the learner's transcript. If the learner uploads the wrong file, they can replace the file prior to file approval. Once a file is approved by an admin, the action is not reversible.
