There are several reasons that you might see this message popup on your screen.

Category-related reasons:
Did you click on a category and get the message "Sorry, this page is restricted"?
- Is the category group restricted?
- Check in My University > Catalog > Categories > check the Group Restricted column > click Edit to view the restrictions.
- If not: Are there any available courses for this learner in this category?
- Courses can be group restricted too; if all courses in the category are group restricted then the learner will not be able to view until:
- a. the learner is added to the restricted group.
- b. the course group restriction is modified.

Course-related reasons:
Check for these in the Course Editor under 4. Settings.
- Is this course included in the course catalog?
- If a course is not in the catalog, it can only be viewed by learners that are enrolled in the course.
- Is this course restricted to certain groups?
- Add your learner to one of the listed groups.
- Update the course restriction.
- Is the course view restricted to logged in users?
AutoEnrollment Link-related reasons:
Did a learner see this message after using an AutoEnrollment Link?
- Is the learner part of your University?
- Check in My University > Users > Users > search learner name > click Get Users.
- Add learner to your University if they are not currently part of it.
- Also add to any groups that the intended course is restricted to.
- Have the learner retry the AutoEnrollment Link.
- Add learner to your University if they are not currently part of it.
- Check in My University > Users > Users > search learner name > click Get Users.
Domain Listing-related reasons:
If a learner sees the restricted page message on every page of the platform, it is likely that domain listings are enabled.
- Check in My University > Users > Domain Listings.
- Add learner's email domain (or email) to the allowlist.
- Add learner's email domain (or email) to the allowlist.
