In order to reduce fraud within our $BlueBucks rewards program, users will now be required to verify the phone number associated to their profile before redeeming $BlueBucks. This phone number must be SMS enabled and must be unique – it cannot be used by another profile within BlueVolt.
When viewing the $BlueBucks marketplace (1a) or attempting to redeem $BlueBucks (1b), users will be prompted to complete their profile with their phone number.
Within their profile, users will be prompted to enter their phone number.
After entering the phone number, users will be prompted to verify their phone number by clicking the “Verify Your Phone” link.
This link will navigate to a page where users will be asked to select their Country Code (USA or Other) and “Send Code”.
This will prompt an SMS message to that number containing a 6-digit BlueBucks Redemption verification code.
Enter that 6-digit number on the BlueVolt page and click “Confirm”.
This will return the user to their Profile page with a green “Verified” flag net to their phone number. If they need to change that number in the future, a “Change Phone” link is provided.
