To complete a course or module, all required components must be viewed. Videos and presentations should play from start to finish without backtracking, skipping, or using the time slider. Be sure to interact with all embedded elements, such as quizzes, links, and diagrams. Course content should remain active for the minimum required time, if applicable. These requirements help ensure that you fully engage with the material.
When you have a module still “In Progress”, try closing the course and relaunching. You may be prompted with the message “Would you like to resume where you left off?” Click NO and start from the beginning. Allow the course to play entirely, engage with all interactive elements, complete quizzes and knowledge checks, and let the timer run out if there is one.
If it still won't show as completed, try the following:
- Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
- Try using a different browser. We recommend modern options like Edge, Chrome, or Firefox. Internet Explorer is not supported.
- Consider taking the course on a different computer or network. If you are on a VPN, swap to a non-VPN network to see if that improves your experience.
- NOTE: Seat time is often not correctly tracked when viewing a course from a mobile device, even when the course is labeled as mobile-friendly.
- Add "go.bluevolt.com" to your Safe Sites list in your virus protection program. For guidance, check out this helpful page: How to Add a Website to Trusted Sites.
- Enable pop-ups and third-party cookies.
- (If applicable) Change the bandwidth of the video from Low to High (or vice versa), and to see if that improves your experience.
NOTE: If you are viewing courses on your work machine and you don’t have the control to update/change these settings, work with your IT department.
