Building on the Alerts & Notifications improvements we launched earlier this year, this next phase takes on the part of the Sharing Center where most of the day-to-day work happens: managing shared courses.
Why We Made These Changes
We heard from admins that finding courses took too long, acting on them took too many clicks, and it was hard to tell what was going on at a glance. We took that feedback seriously. This release is about removing that friction so you spend less time managing and more time growing enrollments.
What's New in This Release
A Better Home for Shared Courses
The old split-screen layout is replaced by a single, full-width workspace — everything you need in one place, easier to navigate from the moment you land.
Courses Shared With Me tab has three status options — Inactive, Active, and Unshared — so that no course gets lost in the shuffle
A new Catalog Visibility indicator — Public, Logged-In Users, Certain Groups, or Hidden — shows each course's visibility in line with the course name.
Filter and sort across every tab to find what you need.
Cleaner Controls for Course Sharing
Managing your sharing terms is easier when everything lives in the same spot.
Updated By Course and By Subscriber views put your sharing terms — pricing, $BlueBucks, enrollment limits, and approvals — all in one screen.
Buy More Enrollments in One Click
The Buy More Enrollments action now lives directly on the course row instead of buried in a modal. One click, no detour — faster restocking without losing your place.
Who This Is For
This update is for any University Admin who uses the Sharing Center as part of their regular workflow — whether you share courses out to your network or activate courses shared with you.
Learner experience is unchanged.
Rollout
This release is currently in beta and will roll out gradually over the coming weeks. No action needed. Existing courses and workflows carry over without disruption.
