Finding and downloading your shared courses just got a lot faster. The LINK Portal replaces the old single-column course list with a searchable, filterable catalog. Download multiple courses to your computer at once instead of pulling them down one at a time, then upload them into your own LMS.
Who This Is For
This update matters for two groups:
- LINK account admins who deal with the day-to-day work of taking content from the BlueVolt platform and getting it into their own LMS
- On-platform partners who share courses out — it's now easier to share content and keep it current for the off-platform partners you work with
Why We Made This Change
The old list had no search, no filters, and no sorting — just one long alphabetical scroll. Large shared catalogs could time out entirely, and downloading meant pulling files one at a time. This release removes that friction.
What's New in This Release
A Real Searchable Catalog
- Search by course title or description across everything shared with your account
- Filter for Training Type, Publisher, and Industry — stack more than one at a time
- Sort your results by Alphabetical (A → Z), Last Updated (newest first), or Duration (shortest or longest first)
- Course cards show publisher, duration, and last-updated date at a glance, so you can decide whether you need something without opening it
- Switch between list and grid view depending on how you like to scan a catalog
- Download up to 10 SCORM files to your computer at once, ready to upload into your own LMS, instead of one at a time.
Reliable at Any Catalog Size
Pagination and server-side filtering mean large shared catalogs load quickly and won't time out.
Finding and Downloading a Course
- Log in to your account.
- The LINK Portal catalog should load automatically.
- Search by course title or description, or apply the Training Type, Publisher, and Industry filters, and sort as needed.
- Click a course to select it — selected courses highlight in blue. Select up to 10 courses this way; check the list at the top of the page to review your picks.
- Click Download to save your SCORM files to your computer.
- The download arrives as a zipped file . Right-click it and select Extract All to unzip before uploading the individual SCORM files into your own LMS.
Note: Selections only apply for your current session. If you need more than 10 courses, process them in multiple batches — download your first 10, then repeat for the rest.
